Best doggos [3]

Hi everyone! In today’s post I’m going to tell you my story with pets.
Since I can remember, there always have been animals in my house. Living with pets is something completely normal to me. For us, they are a part of the family and it would be weird to not have an animal messing around.

Maybe I’m forgetting someone, but I can remember three cats; three dogs, including a Rottweiler we have to give to another family, because she was too aggressive and needed a bigger home; two very little turtles; two hamsters; some chickens and other little common birds of my grandma; and a parrot with a tragic story: our cat take him home severely wounded and my dad tried to save him, but he died only a day after we take him in care because of the wounds.

The most special pet came home at the same time as me. When I was born, my parents take a dog with us. Rumpi, a typical Chilean quiltro. He was born just 20 days after me, so we grow up together. For me it was part of the house, as he was there since I can use my brain to think. He passed away in 2017 of natural causes, at the age of 17 y.o. He lasted too long for being a dog, and It’s painful yet to remember him. 2 years after, It’s still weird going out to the yard and not seeing him. He left a void that no other animal can fill. Also there was a cat named Tito that lasted 7 years and was so special for me and passed away of a disease only months before Rumpi.

For now, we only have one pet at home: I present you this incredible doggo. His name is Tommy. The stray poodle.

A family friend found him as a vagabond at the beach in 2017, and took him to Santiago. Her family could not take care of him, so they gave him to us. Because of that, we don’t know Tommy’s exact age, but the veterinary suspected he is around 7 years old.

He’s a really funny dog. He likes run, can jump very high, and he sleep with any of us in our beds.

We love to buy him clothes and dress him with different styles.

He is the soul of the family and I cannot imagine going back from university and not seeing him receiving me.
I wish I could travel with him

He's definitely a good boy.
