My possibilities being a biochemist [6]

Imagen
This post will be something like a continuation/complement to the previous one. Here I’ll be writing about postgraduate studies. As you can see in the post about my future as a professional, my master plan includes (and it’s an important part) the studies continuity. Anyway, biochem undergraduate practically requires at least 1 postgraduate, as is very hard (especially in Chile) to get a good job being only a biochemist without a specialty. First of all, I’ll do the master in biochemistry that this faculty offers. This is something really good about Biochem in this university: We can do a master parallel to the undergraduate, taking the master courses in the lasts years of career. Also, you can get the undergraduate and the master WITH THE SAME THESIS (sounds good no?). In this master we receive a buff in one of four areas: proteins, clinic biochemistry, toxicology, or environmental biochemistry. I have not decided yet, I like them all. Help. Since it’s easy to enter and n...

Doing science in the future [5]

Imagen
Hi everyone! Today I’ll sharing my ideas about why I’m here.                 Since I was a child, I have always known science is my life. I didn’t always know what career I should choose (careers like literature and informatics engineering crossed my mind sometimes), but all my first priorities were science related, as science is the better way to achieve my goals. After thinking about it and exploring plans like veterinary medicine, agronomy, biotechnology, I finally chose biochem.                 So what’s the plan? I pretend to study for long time, finish my undergraduate degree and then postgraduate degrees. I’d like to maintain contacts with the academic world, like universities, schools and that kind of stuff. I’ll definitely not work i...

Into an unknown series [4]

Imagen
Hi everyone! In today’s post I’ll be recommending some series to watch in the future (because we all know that this university makes it hard to have a life free time).                 First I have to explain I barely watch movies, I prefer series instead ‘cause I can connect with them more than with a movie.   Furthermore, I watch A LOT more animated series than real-image series. So, today I’ll write a little about two animated series: A cartoon series and an anime series. Let’s start. Over the Garden Wall If I had to describe this cartoon in one word, I’d choose beautiful . Over the Garden Wall is a Cartoon Network’ series first broadcasted in 2014. Counts only with 10 episodes 10 minutes long each one, so you can watch it whole in near two hours.    Because of its duration, is considered as a miniseries, but the timing is perfect.  Its creator, Patrick McHale, worked befo...
